Research and Innovations Forum 2018

St. Luke’s College of Medicine – William Quasha H. Memorial an advocate of Medical Health Research just had their Research and Innovations Forum last Saturday, April 14, 2018.

The forum aims to provide support to the new generation of scientists and clinicians in creating research for better patient care.

Eminent doctors, scientist and clinicians on their respective field were invited as plenary speakers to support the new generation of scientist in creating research with impact.

Thank you to the men and women of St. Luke’s College of Medicine Student Council and St. Luke’s Molecular Medicine Society for giving SciGate Technology Corp. an opportunity to feature the latest technology in Medical Education and Research.

Physiology Society of the Philippines (PSP)

We are pleased to inform you that the Physiology Society of the Philippines (PSP) will be having their 38th Annual Convention this coming June 7 – 8, 2018 in San Beda University, Manila. Highlights of the event are the plenary sessions to be given by local and foreign resource speakers including Prof. Tony Macknight, Co-founder and Director of ADInstruments. Also, they will be hosting the 2nd Inter – Medical School Physiology Quiz Contest in cooperation with University of Malaya.

Apart from that, there will be a Pre-convention Seminar & Workshop on June 6, 2018 to be held in the Department of Physiology in UERMMMCI, Aurora Blvd, Quezon City. In behalf of UERMMCI we wish to invite you to please come and participate on a hands-on workshop that aims to highlight pertinent background information and techniques in the application of PowerLab for teaching and learning Physiology. This will be an exciting activity with real recording and demonstration of physiological measurements that you can adopt on your laboratory.

Philippine Chemistry Congress (PCC)

We are proud to announce that we will be participating on the upcoming 33rd Philippine Chemistry Congress with the theme “Chemistry: Rising to Challenges”. It will be held May 30 to June 1, 2018 at the Philippine International Convention Center.

Philippine Association for Laboratory Animal Sciences (PALAS)

Another exciting event is yet to come. Philippine Association for Laboratory Animal Science (PALAS) will be having their 30th Annual Scientific Conference and Meeting on May 23 – 25, 2018 at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

This year theme is “Scientific and Safety: Challenge in Animal Research” and SciGate Technology Corp. is one of their principal sponsors. We have two exhibit booth to showcase the latest technology in Animal Research. Apart from that we have a presentation about the importance of using international standardized SPF laboratory animals to be discussed by our partner, BioLASCO Taiwan.

Association of Philippine Medical Colleges (APMC)

The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila College of Medicine (PLM-CM) will be hosting the 51st Association of Philippine Medical Colleges (APMC) Annual Convention with the theme “Medical Education in Challenging Times” on February 7-9, 2018 at the Justo Albert Hall at the PLM grounds, Gen. Luna Street Intramuros Manila. 

Currently the APMC is composed of 49 different medical schools in the Philippines.  This event will be well participated by more than 600 students, faculty members and deans from these 49 different medical schools all over the country.
